A Look at our Newest Products, Pt. 2

Over the past few months, we’ve launched 3 new tableware products, all with the intention of providing more function + beauty for your home. Our serving platters, candlestick holders, and butter dishes are hand built by our talented Head of Clay Preparation + Hand Building, Steph Dorsch!

We thought it’d be a great opportunity to have Steph speak on designing these new pieces and why they’ll provide such value to your space —

Let’s look at Candlestick Holders

handmade ceramic candlestick holder, handmade stoneware match striker

Our goal was to design an elegant yet whimsical vessel that would be a unique addition to people’s

homes.

Candlestick holders provide a dedicated and stylish way to hold candles, allowing the soft,

flickering light to create a soothing and inviting environment in a home.

We wanted to highlight the versatility of a clay coil, utilizing that core shape produced by our clay recycling pug mill process. The wide, solid base allows for stability, and the coil snuggly holds the candle while also providing a convenient handle that reflects on a traditional candlestick design but with a fresh new take.

For this product design, we ultimately came up with a few different styles, and we took to social media to let followers and the community vote on their favorite design!
