Clay at Home is a take-home kit of soft clay, pottery tools, and access to a step-by-step video tutorial on how to make your own pottery at home. In our first Clay at Home edition you will learn from Jars of Dust owner, Mallorie, the process of making your own version of the Catch-All Dish.

Each kit provides the right amount of materials for 1 person. So if you are wanting to go through the making process with your friends, your partner, or your family please be sure to order 1 kit per person.

Here’s how it works:
1. Purchase your Clay at Home Kit here
2. Pick up your kit at the Jars of Dust shop
3. Take your kit home and follow the step-by-step written + video instructions that are provided to create your own Catch-All Dishes (*Jars of Dust will not glaze or fire any pieces that do not follow the provided instructions)
4. You can keep any tools we provide for your next Clay at Home project
5. Once you are done, bring your creations back to the Jars of Dust shop
6. Give us 3-6 weeks to glaze them in the color of your choice and fire them in our kiln
7. We will contact you when your pieces are finished and ready for pick up!

Through that process, you will have created a strong stoneware piece of pottery that can then be used in your daily life! Not to the mention new and fond memories spent creating something with your hands or in the company of your loved ones.
