Our Favorite Things to Do in Virginia Beach 1. Take a Pottery Class Okay yes, we’re biased. But who wouldn’t be. Our pottery classes, hosted in our pottery studio in the ViBe district in Virginia Beach, is your gateway to (a) checking “take a pottery class” off your bucket list and (b) making a one-of-kind handmade ceramic that you can show off to all your friends. Grab a friend, a crush, or your grandma and spend an evening creating with your hands! We promise it’s worth it! Again, totally biased, but it’s true. 2. Lunch at Commune If you’re signed up for a Saturday morning pottery class and want to grab brunch after - we’d recommend walking over to Commune. Located a few blocks away from our pottery studio, Commune is that farm-to-table dining experience with a relaxing vibe. Get the bowl and a latte - SO good. 3. Dinner at The Pink Dinghy Okay, okay - you’re taking a Serving Bowl class on a Wednesday night, and decide “the night is still young!” Walk across our meager parking lot to Pink Dinghy where you can grab some amazing tappas, drinks, and desserts. The ideal nightcap. 4. Grab a coffee and walk at First Landing State Park If we’re wanting to chill, connect with nature, and are trying to escape the (infinite) sand, grab a coffee from Three Ships and head over to First Landing State Park. Amazing trails, small beaches on the bay, and dogs walking just about everywhere. We love heading there for some rest and relaxation, and love that it feels like you’re in another world. 5. Old Beach Farmer’s Market Another Saturday morning activity, the Old Beach Farmer’s Market sets up in the heart of the ViBe district at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. So many local venders selling goods ranging from Pungo fruits and veggies to local honey and sausage links on a stick. Walk around, grab a coffee from Bad Ass, and stock up on some fresh produce.
